DaVinci Code

Well, since it was a hot afternoon, decided to kill it off with the Da Vinci Code. Liked it, from the middle on it was predictable but it is a good Clue game. Hated that at the last minute there was a light failure so the cinema made the public miss the last shot of the Magdalena place... Lights came back, and it was watch the credits and go. Lame, lame, lame... At least a miracle hapenned and FINALLY the cinema changed (you can faint now) the intro. It sucks badly as it is not creative at all, but at least the Otra Galaxia thing is gone. Yay! Will try to actually read the book maybe next week, to see the good the bad and the sucky details hit and missed by the movie. It was definitively something else than what I expected.

I don't get how come in the new century they still make church protests about religious themes. Sorry but creativity and fiction is simply that, and if it were true it would be even better, as Jesus fought all the time in favor of women's rights. He was the first feminist, mind you! The idea of him being married and having a family should not conflict at all with the beliefs on his doctrine of Love, because after all he was sent by God to pass what humans pass. It's the female being so important thing, old school catholics still cannot dig it... And I say priestesses would be more useful than priests because after all God has no gender, and the bread in the Communion is what becomes Christ... Whatever. Men still have the power thing in powerful places... Hope to live to see the day the choose a femme Pope... Actually it would be easier to see a black male Pope... And we all know that with the racist core in high places THAT is not going to happen anytime soon...

Oh, it's not picking on catholics... I am one. But it is true that the Church has been made with a bloody core, all in the name of God. Truth cannot be deleted. It has been shameful the ways the "black sheep" advanced within velvet robes and iron fists...

The Omen remake, on 6-6-06... Right in tune with the profecies of Lourdes and of Nostradamus. Cool scary stuff, since after all... It could be true... Buahahahah

Now, let's seat back and wait for the Xmen delivery next week... That Gandalf-Magneto guy is really cooking... You gotta love him in the Davinci Code. He has selected many outstanding roles to bear under his belt. I love that guy as much as the guy that brings life to young Ben Kenobi.

Nothing else in this hot odd corner of the island...
