Undead pixies and butterflies...

Yesterday was a day that was an overdrive and overkill in a way… Of my constant quest to simply sleep, it has been written that I’ll sleep when I die. I would not complain about that fate if I didn’t really needed strength to go on… and the aches from weeks past are present again and are very annoying… Anyway…

Had to get out of work early to take auntie on a bank mission. Fighting and the usual as she didn’t get why I was in such haste… well, of course I had a reason, the bank closes at 4pm and it was 3:45. So… Arriving there photo-finish made the afternoon… Well, almost. She comes out and then says we are going to the grocery store… Ugh! I pay for anyone else to do that… But I followed the stream… It was an omen. Around the second row LadyDeath called. So, kept following auntie through the endless lands of consumerism and high prices while chit-chatting… Entertaining. Got a call from Groundel inviting me for dinner, and I complied. Been various days that I haven’t really seen him. So, delivered auntie and off to get the half-orc.

Things were fine and fun and we talked about things going on in our lives… A small comment from my side with no intent in itself triggered his wrath, and after a discussion we kinda made peace with each other… There are many things, many choices, many roads to follow… As I said, one thing is certain and hopefully that thing is enough to keep our entwined lives going on. You are free… Be good.

After delivering the half-orc, went home to take a long bath and to try straightening my hair. It was then that Gaby made an apparition. I juggled the cel with the straightening iron and the comb… Damn, am I good or what… And at 11pm I hanged up… my hair ready, the room was hot enough for me not to feel sleepy… So I gave up on the thought of sleeping. I went outside to cool off a bit, see if I dozed off or something… And then the mage arrived. So… daily news with the mage, sharing events and people’s opinions which are a bit hilarious… And the time comes for him to go with the mists… And for me to go sink in my bed… Finally, at 2:30am, the sound of the pedestal fan faded very slowly in the back of my head, and dreams of undead pixies and rotting butterflies filled the air…

And then the alarm goes on to scream unpolitely: Go work, slave!

And another day begins...

I'll sleep when I die...
