Three, two, one... Engage!

If anyone wondered what I've been up to...

Friday: Went to Aguadilla in the morning, delivering LadyDeath and Groundel at Aguadilla’s UIA so they would meet someone. I was quite busy at work over there, and had to go back to the base because of a compulsory reunion during the afternoon. Went back to get the odd pair at UIA, had a superb dinner at my favorite BBQ chicken place, delivered the kids so I would take a bath, then took them to the movies. We saw Barnyard, and the cows are fricking hilarious. The only thing is that people keep trying to mimic the success of Shrek… Well, that ain’t gonna happen. Shrek has a unique charm on its own. Delivered the kids and waited for the mage’s arrival to his den. It was a long, long day…

Saturday: An even longer day... Four hours of sleep and a deep pain in my neck-back thanks to driving so much... Ugh! Went home to wait for the contractor... The contractor didn’t appear at the site… The mage and me were very, VERY pissed at that… The only highlight was that we got to see an amazing spectacle thanks to Mother Nature. There were more than 8 guaraguaos (our own birds of prey, a cross between a vulture and a falcon or something) flying around my house, and their flight became quite close and personal. They were circling the whole area and a mountain nearby. Wow. There are no words to describe their majestic glides and flight. It seemed a mating dance (which we confirmed at night, this is their mating season). Anyway… To the mall to get some necessary evils, and then to crash at the mage’s den for a little since I had almost no sleep the last couple of days. Oni’s hex… Visited El Calvo later on (finally) and delivered myself home.

Sunday: With Groundel at the mall gathering kitty stuff. Small meeting with the mage and the gang. Some laundry. With LadyDeath at church. With Zordak at the matrimonio acogedor’s site… Disturbance in the Force leads to Ravy getting tummy pain and failing to turn on… Ugh…Delivered at the mage’s den… Taken for a round trip so I smiled or something… Back home…

Monday: Early in the morning my aunt storms in to wake me up and ask why I was not ready for work, where was the car, and… if I bought the sugar she needed… Hmmm… I won’t even bother to comment on THAT. The mage picked me up, and I waited for the outcome of a few phone calls… Finally, got the towing guy to move Ravy and take her to a doctor in Cabo Rojo. After making sure she was delivered, I was teleported home. Guess what? Fried two eggs and didn’t die… Wheeeeeeeeee o algo. :D Spent the rest of the day doing the laundry and hoping that my car will be done at least for tomorrow’s afternoon…

So, for everyone who wondered if I vanished into Hell or something… No… I’m alive… Been quite busy… Missed you all anyways… And I’m quite stranded without my beloved car. Getting to work tomorrow will prove an interesting task… Whatever...

Special thanks: To the mage for his selfless and inconditional presence, to Raven for the right info at the right time, to Groundel for his help and making me laugh and to Lady Death for her company and mischief.
