MAYHEM! CHAOS! KITTIES!

Action!

Thought of the day:
“A first class bitch gets first class treatment.” True story and personal motto.

This weekend went too fast, leaving me tired and sore all over…

Saturday: I really, REALLY didn’t felt like getting out of bed, but after midday and people bugging in the phone, decided to give in to that fate… Went to my house to try preparing the closet… Still in the making… At least two curtains were put in the bedroom, so that made me happy. Moved away from half of the first floor all the furniture that was in the middle and finally got to wash that side. The mage used the hose while I used some Brillo pads to clean the windows (an amazing good idea, the mesh pads are great for little trouble cleaning). Nothing like hosing everything, the downstairs bathroom was left spotless… Finally! Night fell upon us, and we went straigt to auntie’s after giving in to Chinese lunch after 8pm… yes, lunch… We actually had no dinner since it would have had to be prepared at 1am following schedules… And by 9pm we were at auntie’s, in bed... The day beat us up.

Sunday: The cats had to be done… Meaning litter cleanup. Meaning the mage tried his best to ease up the BIG mess that was in the kitty room at auntie’s. The smell of Clorox filled the air… After the mage bagged the dirty sand, I cleaned up the litter boxes getting them ready for travel. The kitties were placed in their respective taxies, and off we went… The mage had the big taxi with the 5 black cats. In my car went the ladies of trouble: Roxy, Kali and Isis. As usual, Isis gave no trouble… but the smell of fear was soon present in the atmosphere. Arriving at Hormigueros I came to realize poor Roxy had a second level accident as Kali had one of the first kind. Mening they would need a bath. Meaning… Prepare for a big adventure of the wild kind… So, we decided to leave that matter for last, as we needed to prepare the new kitty room at our house. Furniture was moved, pillows were cleared, the mage went to get some clean sand while I gave the final touches to the kitty room throwing the twin bed in the floor, setting up litters and taxies, securing windows… I dressed up the bedroom in blue stripes and put up my beloved vampire painting and the Dracula poster. Completed dressing up the bathroom downstairs (of course, with suns and stars… Some things will never change) so at least it looks alive. The mage arrived with the sand and kitties soon went to their own bathrooms becoming visibly released… :P So… We ate up some lunch. and went to the task of bathing Roxy and Kali.

Bad idea. Kali became her feral alter ego, and shredded the mages arms while viciously biting his hands. Since I had to use gloves she couldn’t pick up any familiar scent, and that plus the stress of the travel made her loose it completely. Ended up leaving her inside the taxi while using the hose on it through the taxi’s holes. She went berserk… But it was a necessary evil. Roxy was… milder… Although she tries to escape she respects the voice… So she gives bad looks, menacing with her back legs, but restrains herself from further damage. She was bathed on her own two feet, and dried up with a towel, and lovingly cradled upstairs. Kali stayed in berserk mode for hours… We brought her upstairs so she would see and smell the other kitties and stop being her bitchy self. Had to unlock her from the cage, allowing her to roam the room wetting everything… At least by nighttime, and many hours later, she was back to her normal self being a bit hesitant at first but coming closer after breaking the ice looking for love. At least I felt relieved that she was mild and loving, I thought it would take longer for her… Been there, done that, and that kitty is too stressful due to her traumatic past. But all ended ok… Sort of… The mage has the battle scars as proof of his dedication to duty.

So… After the kitty havoc, kept on arranging things in place. By 8pm decided to stop, took a bath, and watched the first 2 episodes of Xena… Wow… So different from the last season! Always a delight to watch. Went to bed around 10:30pm… A king bed is a definite must, I had no idea how much of a big deal space makes! But the comfy setting was not enough to make me sleep… The alien surrounding and alien sounds and the light coming through the windows cluttered my senses… I must have slept 3 hours… Visited the kitties and they seemed content, so that stress is slowly fading away.

Monday: Got up at 6am so I would have time to do everything at a slow pace, since I have to go downstairs and then back up… and the stairway still gets wet… Getting up early didn’t matter as I took 1 ½ hour to prepare and so left the house at 7:25am… No traffic, until arriving at the Mall… Ugh! It took exactly 25 minutes from there to my job’s parking lot… Thanks to policeman fishies… Arrived just in time at 8:00am. So… This means I have to get up even more early-er… Ugh! Seems it has to be at least 5:45am so I can actually get out of the house by 7:15am sharp, to avoid being late. Lovely…

So, the day is starting, this is Rehabilitation Counselor’s week and everyone dressed up. Luckily my 6th sense told me to dress up as well, so I look good… And if I look good, we all look good, right? LOL At least once I gotta ace it. :D

Friends: No idea, everyone has been missing in action. I guess 300 has taken the best of them all. I hope to finally see it on Friday, maybe at midnight if the mage can make it… Want to see Pan’s Laberinth, perhaps with the fine arts club if they are available during the week… and if I am up to it.

Family: Sister is very excited since she and her hubby have been trying to get pregnant and nothing had happened for years. Seems that this year is jackpot year, o algo. LOL She is quite happy, and that is good. Now all she has to do is take good care because of complications coming with high risk pregnancy especially at early stage. I should know… This is where we show how different we are. I don’t see the point of telling everyone about it until it is something at least 75% certain because of time and it being high risk. Just one month is too early to throw any party, but that is her… and I won’t spoil her fun. Best wishes!!!

Work: Same story, same everything, same bull… But, the show must go on… And it will.
