A new year unfolds...

for better or for worst...

It’s been a while, but not because of lack of inspiration… Lack of time, lack of energy… Well, maybe… Since right now a party is in all its glory at the house next door, here I am! For your pleasure… LOL

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Yeah, I kinda missed saying that… It was on that week that granny was taken to the hospital because of a pain and now is a terminal cancer patient… Still there, now in a room all by herself… Can’t get up and won’t accept being wired so… Waiting for the Reaper to finally release her…

What a way to begin the year… Bitter-sweet… Been trying to prime the house. Groundel was of help, but there is much to be done and I only have two hands… At least he kept me company. The toll for overworking myself for almost 3 days was two days of complete shutdown… And then some…

Attending church celebrations: The night before Xmas, New Years Eve, and today at 10am will be the Three Kings Day celebration… It has not been a sacrifice, I love how the priest gives mass. And he seems very fond of the mage and me. In the end, we got the wedding when we wanted it: February. The mage cannot get his Confirmation in a while, so no sense waiting so long, and the priest agreed on that. Yay!

So… The Last Official Wedding Date: February 3, 2007. At 2:30pm in the Our Lady of Fátima church, in my hometown. We don’t expect much commotion, we both have only a handful of friends… But we do expect to be surrounded by all who in one way or another have touched our lives forever. So, if you feel compelled to join us, you are very much welcomed. We will have a small gathering when the ceremony is over in the surrounding areas of the church, most likely the kiosk. Invitations should be sent after the 15th of January.

WEDDING PARTY:
Maid of Honor: Raven
Godfather: Coriolis
Bridesmaids: Cindy & Melo
Flowergirl: Mandy
Ringbearer: Barbie
Coordinator: El Calvo
Brought to you by Kymill the Bard’s Productions

I hope that Groundel can join us as well… I know it all is hard on him, but I also know if he doesn’t go he will regret missing his best friend’s wedding. And he knows that he’s family to me. Always.

New Year brought many new surprises… With it, I began taking shots of insulin. Seems to control my diabetes much better… Still draw blood each time I do it… Hate needles! Was on ER two days ago due to an infection that almost got to my kidneys, but that is under control, amen to that.

Bought a 600 gallons cistern thanks to daddy’s funding. The mage got the pieces needed and hopefully it will be setup next week. At least that headache is vanishing a little…

Found El Calvo at home, and he agreed to help with the wedding decoration and details… within some medieval touches. A big weight lifted off my shoulders. I was flipping with what must be done… As usual, his guidance and direction, and certainty makes me breathe and smile. The mage’s mom will take care of some food, with some contributions of auntie… And of course, Coriolis sweet contribution too. So, the plan is coming together! Who knew!

Happily Never After: Cool cartoons, sucky to watch in Spanish… But at least it was fun. Loved the stepmom…

Night at the Museum: WOW! I was surprised… A GOOD MOVIE!!! Entertaining, hilarious, witty, funny, sexless, cute, filled with action and with enough drama… Gotta love the President and the cowboy-romanboy affair! GO SEE IT!!!

The music at the neighbor’s home is louder by the minute… sleep is overrated… Ugh! But I know… The little people must have fun too… Sheesh! Gotta find some sleep…

10-4

And as the mage has always said... Have a little faith, some hope and believe and everything shall come together and fall into place as it should. Love you much! Never lose sight and be mindful and the light shall shine anew every time. ;)
