I'm in love...
Last night completed the first page of a new scrapbook: Our Story. Many blank pages ahead, but all will be filled slowly and thoughtfully. Been a long while since my last scrapbooking frenzy, when I completed the albums for Groundel. Still, now I should make a few additions that include his hospital pictures. That will come soon enough. In the meantime, focusing on the one gathering the story of The Mage & The Witch. It should be a warmup for making the Wedding & Honeymoon album, followed by Deirdre's album. Step by step... One by one...
Today is a very special day. Half a year has passed since The Mage & the Witch said I do... Many things have happenned, but one truth remains certain: We belong.
Work has been quite dull. Still getting gifts from people who couldn't make it to the baby shower (erm, what shower?). Some forgot, others were confused about the date, others were told of a change of place, everyone expected to be called for RSVP. Well... Shit happens.
Maybe after the birth I will have some will to at least summon a gathering to celebrate Deirdre. Maybe. Probably by October, though... I've been planning on celebrating Halloween forever, and always something happens... Last year we were to dress up, then Groundel's hospitalization happenned. So, I'll say no more so the date is not jinxed.
Nauseous... tired... sleepy... Wanting to do much, but with no will to do so. Maybe tomorrow while the A/C is placed in a rightful place I will actually try doing the stuffing for the furniture down below... Long story. So at least that looks done.
Gotta figure many things out...
I'll skip work on Monday due to the prenatal monitoring, and a gyn appointment. Hopefully he'll give me the letter I need for the maternity leave. I'll be in Week 37, so paperwork and preparations must be made.
Coriolis will be back from his travel tomorrow... roasted. LOL Oh, at his work they will force him to go in a business trip to Las Vegas after next week. Damn, the poor guy... So many sacrifices for the sake of business... He should not complain, he somehow leads a lucky life.
Me... I am lucky in the Spiritual Plane. Prime material is always playing jokes on me... Or making things too difficult, or too stressful, or too uphill. It would be nice if change hit me with good fortune for a change... Take RoseRed. I thought actually being able to get it was a blessing, but after two years of struggling to fix all its bad things it is very obvious it was a bad decition to buy it. I'm not convinced I should stick with it... Maybe selling is the best option after all... I had many ideas and plans for RoseRed, but having no one to help completing the projects and knowing no good contractors has taken away all the home improvement charm. I've becomed quite indebted thanks to trying to fix things, and it all seems fruitless and not worth it. If things could get done, if at least I could see the basic things finished! I guess an apartment with 4 rooms would have made me happier... if I had only known...
No point on whinning too much about it right now... Maybe in two years the nightmarish den will actually become a nice, warm home. Maybe something good will happen in the end... I wanted to have basic things done by Deirdre's arrival, but that is definitively out of the question. And I know how complicated things will get... How can one enjoy the ride with such stormy weather? (Sight...) Well... At least I know that the Mage and I feed our souls constantly. We live a good life, caring for everyone that surrounds us. We do have many blessings, there are so many without half of what we have... or with much material gain but an empty life. We are not empty. We have goals, dreams, inspiration and will. Plus we have each other. It should count for something. I just wish we could smell the roses more often... All work and no play is a complete waste of life.
Anyway... It's Friday... Don't feel like doing much, just wanna breeze a bit...

I don't care if monday's blue
tuesday's grey and wednesday too
thursday I don't care about you
it's friday I'm in love
Monday you can fall apart
tuesday wednesday break my heart
thursday doesn't even start
it's friday I'm in love
Saturday wait
and sunday always comes too late
but friday never hesitate...
I don't care if monday's black
tuesday wednesday heart attack
thursday never looking back
it's friday I'm in love
Monday you can hold your head
tuesday wednesday stay in bed
or thursday watch the walls instead
it's friday I'm in love
Saturday wait
and sunday always comes too late
but friday never hesitate...
Dressed up to the eyes
it's a wonderful surprise
to see your shoes and your spirits rise
throwing out your frown
and just smiling at the sound
and as sleek as a shriek
spinning round and round
always take a big bite
it's such a gorgeous sight
to see you eat in the middle of the night
you can never get enough
enough of this stuff
it's friday
I'm in love

Loony days
... (Misty nights)
Monday & Tuesday were long days at work… Seating in a non-ergonomic chair, not being able to bend for a nap even if I’m falling to pieces is the pits… Not having much to do is completely boring… Wednesday didn’t make it. Got up late, and then couldn’t walk much because of sleeping on my right side… it hinders my right leg… So the “penguin”walk was short and uneasy. Put in order the pictures that arrived a week ago, and gathered the scrapbooking stuff to begin a Witch & Mage scrapbook. At sunset LightShadow and Groundel teleported to my den, bringing both company and a movie, The Machinist. The mage arrived at his usual almost-witching hour, this time with another gift from a co-worker, an electric/battery operated breast pump. It was nice to feel happy vibes from him at such end of day hours… I wish I could stay awake to actually share more thoughts and words with him, but… our schedules are the pits. We will survive, though... It is true, things COULD be worst…
WORK: Now they did something at the Source that leaves the satellite supporting cast without any administrator rights… So my only question is: What the HELL are we supposed to do now in the frickin office? I mean… The little things we could do is the little things we can no longer do… I foresee a centralization of the support at the Source, and that’s gonna be so lovely… I need to change from this department, I am tired of the crap. Either that, or start fresh elsewhere. I guess we all know what I’ll be doing during my maternity leave…
HOME: Still a WIP with the completion of basic construction… Hopefully A/C and kitty window will be completed on Saturday. Hopefully… No word from the electrician… So downstairs got only 2 working lights, a fan to be dismounted so it can be changed, a fan to be tubed and wired, a chandelier mocking me and a kitchen rack eating dust… And upper bath still untouched and still in the process of being a bigger mess. At least the front jungle of weeds has been poisoned, needs a second hand on that matter… As well as the back needs some dosis of weedkiller as well. Need to do the holes for the palmitas, and to get some flowesr to liven things up… but that is another story…
FRIENDS: Hopefully Coriolis finally got his messages… he hasn’t called so I guess so. Groundel still has not been able to go to Bellavista and should attend doctor’s appointment tomorrow… LS will start her new job very soon, so positive karma sent her way. Cook got a car transmission scare, Cock still bothering with his Xbox woes… Raven got her money and have not resurrected ever since.
The MAGE: Still trying to get a complete evaluation of his transcript. The curriculum changed, and based on it he only has to take one class… and another one if he wants to get rid off an F (which I strongly advise he does…). All in all, I don’t think he’ll have a problem graduating next May. It will be fun to celebrate that. And then, hopefully, he can actually find a job with better pay and better working hours! It’s the best way to get back quality time, and make true memories. These days have been a rollercoaster in the emotions department, but it is always refreshing to see how he gets up and smiles again… always the positive elf… And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The WITCH: Bothered to the core by what’s going on with the work thing, bothered to the core by the penguin walking, bothered by the belly pressure, slightly bothered by nausea… Gravity is showing its power, making me too tired, period. I don’t feel I’ll be able to keep up coming to work after next week… Moving and walking bothers too much. But I can’t simply stay at home… better be bothered in the office where anyone could take me to a hospital if needed, than alone at home where if I start birthing symptoms I have to wait for the Mage to arrive from wherever… Honestly I think that is the only worry I have about the whole birthing thing… Everything else I know will be fine.
So… The mists of Ravenloft keep wrapping Anthill every afternoon, displaying a beautiful full moon at night… Listen to the children of the night… They howl for you!

WAITING GAME
... (seated, just in case)
A whole week passed away, rotting, dying… some was done, much was not… People have a knack of not appearing when they say they will even knowing that they are offering a service and you will pay… Ugh! I am so sick of all the house hauntings! I thought that during my free week I would be able to get all main things done, but no… Everything turns out as a big disappointment and I am fed up with so much stress about it. Entering the phase of “I don’t care”… well, at least in a fathomless way, since there is nothing I can actually do to change things…
The windows/A/C guy said he would pass by on Wednesday to complete his shares… We’ll see. The electrician shines because of his absence… and he left his job quite incomplete, meaning I only have two working lights downstairs… The breaking of the upper bathroom tiles is indefinite limbo… Everything is a mess, bundles here and there… Kitties upset and meowing constantly… I just wanted to put things together to at least be able to have some decent spaces and not have to worry about anything else but the labor ahead… but all must be stressful… It is my curse…
The mage should try getting his classes before the 1st of August. Hope he does, he needs to put his stuff together to help the “moving forward” process in life…
Coriolis seems to be having a good time at the Dominican Republic. At least someone is having fun. He is luckier than he visualizes… Half of what he’s got could make my life so easy… But, no one sees the wonders they have, just the bad things and the flaws on everyday life. Human nature.
Raven still flying around but making no sound landings. She called on Friday because Coriolis left her a message indicating his leaving her stuff at my house… The window screens were a good excuse to start a limited conversation, but don’t think that I’m at ease with everything. Just accept consequences gracefully because like it or not YOU were the one in charge so it all was YOUR responsability! Running away and avoiding people is a repeating behavior that is not acceptable from an adult.I don't work on assumptions. Actions speak louder than good intentions, and an honest apology goes a long way. I'm still waiting for the one that belongs to the godmother being an hour late for my wedding...
Groundel has been chilling… Seems content with his fate of living at the City of Hills with his lovely family. I hope that at least his having a sound definitive space helps his stability issues, as well as his healing issues. He still needs to focus a bit more on what he needs to do, about the cupones and about healing his foot. My taxi service is coming to an end soon, so the next two weeks will be his last chances for getting my help… After I go into labor, things will be very difficult in that matter for at least a whole month. So I hope the half-orc gets the point and moves his ass!
Last week saw The SIMPSONS… Laughed a little, but it lacked some things I expected, such as more irony and more references to other movies… It is a definitive rental, not worthy of the big screen… But these days, where so many crappy movies make it… Well, enough said!
Look for STARDUST, seems a good movie… along with the GOLDEN COMPASS, and the sequel of Elizabeth… ELIZABETH: GOLDEN AGE. Oh, and of course, RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION.
So... The whole world is at an end, I keep playing the waiting game even if I hate it, and life goes on... How do I feel? Tired... Very tired. I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but the problem is a tunnel with no end... That is so common in the Underdark! Reality keeps biting badly, there is some hope for gaming weekends after labor, but for now that is just gossip... Me, vomiting everything (still), feeling dazed and overheated... Not sleeping soundly thanks to a heavy watermelon stuck in my belly... And everything making me sick. At least WNtW and the mage's TLC soothe the bitterness...

Communications interrupted...
the endless joys...
Oh, it's so nice from the systems... Something happenned and there has been no cel or phone communication for the whole afternoon... Couldn't do the fetal monitoring because I needed an original pescription from the doctor... Last week I was told I didn't need it... So yes, the week is getting lousier by the second... Came home... the window guy appeared and I have ben going up and down the stairs getting things for him... since he brought no materials to work. Did I mentioned I'm supposed to be resting in peace and quiet? Now my back hurts, a cat bit me because she got scared and I feel nauseous and drained. Things get better by the second...
Groundel's b-day is tomorrow, so in case I don't see him: Happy B-day!!!! Coriolis being ilumminated, Raven been mising in action, LightShadow sailing through new seas. The mage will work tonight beyond midnight... Happy happy joy joy... Me... the crappyness never ends.

Pissed? Me? Nah!
(what a concept)
So... It is Sunday. The sun came out to shine over my wicked house, and peace and harmony strike back as they should… But the series of unfortunate events from the last week has left a bitter aftertaste. One thing is having emotional flips due to pregnancy raging hormone changes, another thing is when the emotional flips come from people’s lack of consideration. I should be at a blissful, loving home, surrounded by serenity and loving support. Rip off that mask. My life has never been about bliss or happiness or even being contempt. Every rose has not one but many thorns. And do not get me wrong, I would give my life for my roses… but damn, they sting so hard! And there is so much one can take…
About yesterday's baby shower... It didn't happen. Details here... Rosered: A place for a Baby Shower flop.
Beneath my rage and anger and disappointment there is no contempt, there is no settling for puny pieces of what should be… Why is it that the simple things are the ones I cannot have? One moment of joy seems the prize of an endless ethereal quest. It is ok, I can handle anything… I am a fearless warrioress after all… But what happens when the deepest wounds come from the close friends you have… because they carelessly toss your heart to the floor and feast on its blood? I don’t know what to think… how to feel… I value actions over intentions, truth over white lies. I know what lays beneath the flesh and bones of my few acquaintances… And it is quite hurtful that it seems they know nothing about me, about what makes me happy, about what is important to me. No one and nothing makes me cry, but yesterday I did. Yesterday was for me one of the darkest days in many years… Everyone, willingly or carelessly or unknowingly, sunk me deeper in a pit of thorns. Why? It shall remain a mystery.
There are no answers given to me… I guess that was the big surprise after all… You don’t do things like that. People over 30 years old cannot do what a group of teenagers can? People over 30 cannot put aside their differences and work together without egos, being responsible for accepting doing something? Gimme a break. Adults… Right. But it certainly was not one person’s fault. It was everyone’s fault. Each one showed off their Achiles talon. And in the end, it was also my fault for not doing what I always do when I want something… simply doing it myself.
These last days have been a journey that revealed many things… About life, about people, about friends… Everyone is eager to put blames but no one takes responsibility for the broken glass… Groundel mentioned to me today that I should have expected what happened yesterday because I know all the people involved… and they did what they always do. So it was my fault for believing pigs could fly… Loving, encouraging Groundel… always being himself. But he has a point after all. Coriolis will always be himself, Raven will always be herself, and LightShadow will be herself too. Of this trio, the less selfish is LighShadow, who is always trying her best to keeps things happy, always the mediator… But Coriolis and Raven… and even Groundel (sight)… I rather make no comments…
A scorpion asked a swan to take him across a lake for he needed to reach the other side and couldn’t swim. Other animals had said no, but the swan saw no threat in helping him since she figured out that he would not harm her as he needed the ride. And so, the scorpion got on the swan, and she began swimming across the lake… A few moments later, as the swan made a sudden movement to avoid entangling herself in some vines, the scorpion sting her. The swan’s last words were “What have you done? I was helping you cross the lake! Now we will both drown!”. And the scorpion answered “I am sorry, I didn’t mean it. It’s what I do”.
My deepest sympathies to the mage, for he was the target of many attacks in the last couple of days… Some he REALLY deserved, but some he did not. I am truly sorry... I know it all has also been very VERY stressful to you too... And still, you are there for me. Thank you, for everything. I love you, always.

Mayhem, chaos...
Kali must be proud...
Friday… What a week of ups and downs. By now, I feel nothing, I will just let it all go with the flow. I am tired and sad and moody. What has been done so far is for my own mental peace and healing, not to please anyone. I hope the mage understands that… I am blended with my environment. So… I hope that the changes allow for the inner diva to be restfull and happy. Hope the electrician appears somewhere in translation… and that the A/C & bathroom renovation guy makes an entrance next week… Just want everything in its right place so I can focus on the baby that is coming soon… maybe sooner than expected…
BabyShower crew being chaotic, erratic and not too clever. Last week, and still family members have not heard from the baby shower… which is TOMORROW. My only comment about it: WTF? Two months were not enough to contact family and friends… only co-workers… Things that makes you go hmm… I still have to witness the insanity to get to any conclusions… I know the basics on ech person, pro’s and con’s, and mixing them all ain’t so pretty… But I honestly thought they could work things out together. Maybe it all has been a nicely played charade to really REALLY surprise me with an outstanding performance… God, I still have endless hope for some people and situations… Should I know better? (Drums FX)
Popu is having a foot surgery today. Best wishes on that, hope that your new bionic implant will work wonders and let you run the extra mile! To a safe recovery!
Feeling crappy. Went to the lab this morning, so the whole day has been screwed by the fasting test… Got migraine that adds up to the stress of tomorrow’s event… But, relax, release… Maybe it will all end in a Hairspray/HarryPotter double feature combo… and so, things will be oh-so happy in Neverland… Nausea that doesn’t end, heartburn, hungry but can’t eat, upset, angry, frustrated, paranoic, disappointed, mad, angry, upset, moody, worried and oh-so-tired… So, what’s new?

Hurricanes? Earthquakes? Natural DIsasters?
Try Baby Showers!
LOL Yup, pun intended. ;P
We've got two baby showers so far, one left to finish that cycle. Hope that the crew makes it to the shore without dead bodies or abandoning the ship... It has been interesting witnessing the dinamics of Captain Barbossa, Captain Emeraldas and Captain Kitty. We all know what almost happenned to the Black Pearl... LOL
The mage had a baby shower last Thursday night at the Umbrella Co. Thanks to that much peace of mind came into our lives, as the baby won't go around naked and will have a cozy place to sleep at our bedside. And the cake was yummy!
Talked with the mage's handyman friend, and he'll do the A/C & windows installations, and the upper bathroom renovation. He'll also try to do something about the ceiling leak and the broken water pipe... Hopefully during my free week. Got a plumber number just in case, and also contacted the electrician so he puts up the lamps & ceiling fans I bought... and maybe also repair some of the wicked switches in RoseRed.
Spent Saturday getting stuff at the hardware store, light fixtures, bathroom tiles, bathroom cabinet combo, ceiling fans... Only the white toilet is missing from the list, gotta get it next week. Small grocery shopping.
Sunday, LightShadow, Groundel, Raven, the Orc and the kids where at home in the afternoon, and moved all the heavy things to the second floor. The ladies did tidy up the kitties room, the guys played and everything had a flow. As the mage arrived at sunset, all had been moved to a proper place, so he primed the floor getting it ready for the next day...
Monday, Raven passed by during the morning, so we spent the whole day painting inside the house. She had to leave at sunset, and I finished off painting the floor at the foyer and small balcony. Was quite dead when the mage arrived...
Tuesday morning went to the hospital for the NST that I should now do weekly. Got contractions at long intervals, mild but they should make me wary. If anything happens, gotta run to the border really REALLY fast. During the afternoon, they threw me a Baby Shower at work... Pirate Hello Kitty & Pirate Keroppi hosted the event. The emergency "conference" was hilarious. And more useful goodies to make Deirdre very, very happy.
Today had planned to do the lab test, but got up a bit late so went straight to work. Will do the test tomorrow morning... Gotta get some wood when I get off work, and a ceiling fan. And some thinguies I will need to make the hospital bag. Hopefully I wont fall asleep in the way... I feel so tired!

TGIF
... Hopefully...
Since good and positive news are very rare, I saw this and decided it was a nice way to start a long weekend... Who knows, It can happen to any of us, if we are in the right place at the right time...
Pizza Hut waitress gets $10,000 tip!
In other news... Today there was the Earthquake and Tsunami conference from the FEMA guys. It was basically all I already know... but it was a nice review. There may be a serious intent to create an emergency response crew at work, and that has always interested me... Maybe I could get into that to make things more fruitful? We'll see... Since maternity leave is around the corner, that and a sign language course seems like wishful thinking... But the powers may be at work after all...
This will also be "fixing roads" weekend... Today the main #2 road will be closed from Hormigueros to San germán, and between today and Monday the main road leading to Ponce will be closed as well due to repairs... Alternate routes should be available, just prepare yourself for the traffic jams...
Seems there will be some sort of baby shower intent at work. Caught people in the middle of some things yesterday and today. Trying not to spoil it for them... I wonder how it is that no one else noticed the weird things... Or maybe they pretended not to see, just as I am doing... Who knows...
Need a plumber, looking for one. Anyone knows a good cheap one? Somebody? ANYBODY?
Will try getting basic stuff tomorrow morning, groceries and needful things so the house works roll. And then Harry Potter and church... Gotta at least put things in place this weekend, between Sunday and Monday, the baby shower is next week...
Next Monday is a free day, and the mage told me he had called the cable company and they said they would pass on monday... I'll also try to see if the A/C guy can pass on Monday afternoon to put the friggin thing where it should be... I NEED A PLUMBER!

No, I didn't spend the weekend reading Enigma or OVNI. No, I'm not supersticious. Yes, I like cabritos and ovejos. No, I don't like horses, just some centaurs. Yes, still into Thundercats and Xena. No, don't care about politics but can give inteligent opinions about it. No, I don't believe war is the ultimate answer to everyone's problems... it adds to them. No, I don't intend to be Mother Theresa not even close to her... She is a rolemodel that made a difference using ways I would never use... I am not patient and I get ANGERED (agered, well, yes, that too :P) too easily... Plus she believed in a better world and I believe a better world would come after the anhilitation of humans, true destroyers of Nature and EartMother. No, I am not pessimistic, I am realistic. Yes, everything has me pissed off. No, I was never a Menudo fan. Yes, I enjoy fairy tales, especially the original unedited uncut original versions which taught lessons crudely and rudely. And yes, I do have the famous It's a Small World LP with the song sang by children in all languages from the world... so what?
At work... Will take Groundel to Anthill at midday. Will go to the loan place after work... Will go home and ponder how ovejos and kitties will work together for the best interest of sanity.

MESSY DAWNS
... of the dead?
Friday… Work was slow. During the morning we got a Hurricane conference that gave some insight on the wrong things to do or the bad places to be during a hurricane… like… gee, this island is so safe… Contractors keep tearing mountains apart, building houses in flooding zones and near the chores… Who cares about nature when profit is in sight? Anyway… Almost fall asleep during the afternoon. Waited for the mage to arrive after work, so we could fly off to eat something and to see Transformers.
TRANSFORMERS: I expected this to be trash. So… I was proven wrong. Entertaining linear storyline, believable FX, they managed to keep the essence of the original cartoons bringing it to the new generation. So, old schoolers and new gen should come out satisfied. BTW, Hugo Weaving is the voice of Megatron, now THAT’s cool!
Saturday… long blah day. Many plans, none completed. The mage had work at midmorning, so I went to Auntie’s Place… The plan was to wash clothing and cleanup my car but since I have a cloud of bad luck lingering over me… there was no water. So… Ate something, read the newspaper, and went home early in the afternoon. To my surprise the mage had arrived early from work, so after trying refreshing myself we went to Walmart to get some needful kitty stuff, and a drill. Nothing, he bought almost nothing, and the bill was around a hundred! It’s becoming impossible simply to live. Everything is so overpriced! (Sight…) We made it to the chicken place, and then we headed home. Night was falling, and the radio gave some insight on some news that are not so good and that somehow have NOT been properly transmitted to the people…
THE BAD NEWS:
ARECIBO: We all know that the Radio-Telescope in Arecibo will be closing around 2010 because of lack of funding… Many ideas to make it a private business… Well, there was so much outrage at first, but somehow things grew quiet, and with the political environment here people loose focus on important things. Well, while no one pays attention, in the Barrio Esperanza has begun a nuclear site construction. There is a government project named Sleight of HAND (High-Altitude Nuclear something) making nuclear experiments on the ionosphere and space, and they are utilizing the radio-telescope technology for that… Arecibo was chosen because of the Radio-Telescope, and because of its closeness to the water deposits (which includes the whole north coast of the island thanks to the reefs and floor conditions given specifically in there… And as you all know, nuclear energy needs water…) Scientists from all over the world are already on site, experiments have been conducted without puclic knowledge, as usual…
EL YUNQUE: Little has been known about the governor of PR signing an approval legalizing US bio-experiments within the depths of El Yunque. The director of the forest denies everything, but the law-act exists, recently signed by the governor. It has always been known that although they say El Yunque is open to the public, there are restricted areas… Now even further. Both flora and fauna can be irreversibly damaged, legally. And it seems that no one gives a damn about it…
COMING HOME FROM WAR: Soldiers returning home from the stupid Irak war have not been properly tested or taken care of… Most seem fine, but when they begin feeling ill and they get medical aid, they have high concentrations of Uranium radiation. Over there, Uranium is used to damage weapons of the opponent… so every soldier is exposed to that radiation. Also, people wounded at battle that have come home because they should not be in the field have reported that they have been summoned back to the field… their doctors have been pressed by the military to sign papers stating they are fine when they are not (if your hand is damaged how in blazes will you handle a rifle or any weapon?!). People don’t want to go to this war, and the military is desperate to get victims…ermm… soldiers, no matter what. Have you seen the lovely campaigns targeted towards Latin-American younglings? It is very ironic that they want the so-called minorities to defend the Land of the Free… like PuertoRicans… But when it comes to giving us statehood they want nothing to do with us because we are a pest for them. Younglings need to open their eyes before they willingly enroll in the military… Yes, there are many benefits… But are you very aware you will be spreading some children’s brains in the floor thanks to the weapon you use? Are you aware you will be killing women and children and innocent bystanders just because they are there? Are you aware of the denial of basic human rights that goes on? When these soldiers come back, they may look fine but their minds will never be the same. Let us NOT forget the Vietnam Veterans, who have been basically forgotten… who went to a senseless war for nothing. Let us NOT forget the 65th Infantery, were ignorant young PuertoRicans were taught simply to point and shoot and then they were placed in the most dangerous place, raw meat for the enemy’s delight… almost no survivors.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANIPULATION EXPERIMENTS: Conducted daily at so-called wastelands… Experiments trying to control the forces of weather and nature (hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning), that have radiation, and that are performed just at the source of the so-called “Sahara Dust” that keeps coming to the island, raising respiratory illnesses… This Sahara Dust is a very new thing, that didn’t exist before, and that now keeps reapering almost weekly covering the whole island. It transports particles that cause damage. People are adviced to stay indoors if they are allergic or have astma… If you wear contact lenses you should not wear them out in the open when the dust is around as it affects them. So… A simple dust? I don’t think so… But no one seems to care enough to actually do real research about it… That, or its classified information… But then again, the feds have always turned X-Files into reality. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.
POLUTED BEACHES, now EVEN CANA GORDA!: Gosh, my favorite beach and thank God I have not gone there. The percent of bacteria required as safe is 35%. Cana Gorda had 215% last weekend, and has been branded not safe. So, following all the reports, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHICH BEACH IS NOT POLLUTED IN THIS FREAKIN ISLE? Because even Combate fell in that cathegory last month… Illegal unsanitary discharges especially from industries keep happening, and the law is not forceful enough to actually prevent it…
What will become of this place, once called Island of Enchantment… It is so sad witnessing the slow destruction of Paradise, the slow destruction of a place that is so small and yet with so much diversity in weather, flora and fauna. And worst, our identity as proud, honest working caring people with a unique culture and lovely traditions has been completely lost. There are many ways of enslaving, not necessarily by force… Keep people ignorant, sell false ideas and let the herd jump in the same place following the shepherd that seems to want their wellbeing, and who keeps bringing all its sheep to the slaughter. 50% of the people here only stays in school until 8th grade. That means most don’t know how to write and read. On this century, THAT is scary. But education brings on the key to deep thoughts, and that is what the government does not want. Sadly. So… People have no ability or desire to be outraged by what is going on, prices keep rising, the cost of living is ridiculous, the land keeps being ravaged, an earthquake/tsunami is on the horizon, a nuclear plant will finish the pollution that already buries us, and mutants shall rise on El Yunque (or zombies… who knows…The Umbrella Co. is a lovely allegory of reality). And we all thought the grey aliens were the enemy of humanity… Think again, Bob!
Anyway... Sunday… As the mage went to see his Munchkin, I went to do the laundry (this time with some luck). Cleanup the car, picked up Groundel and went home. The mage rented some movies, so we spent the night watching John Tucker Must Dies and Dead Silence. I liked both, nice rentals, one full of laughs and one with some classic moments of suspense (although revisiting oldies like Pupetmaster… but it seems that was the idea based on the making of… BTW Absolutely loved the actress/diva who played Mary Shaw!).
Nothing done in the house, for some variety in life… And by now, I don’t care. I’m tired, exhausted, fed up about it and tied up to do anything anytime soon… Whatever. The pitirres keep talking in the mornings, and the lazy cool-cat keep getting shade from the cars…
Life goes on…

Some houses are born EVIL!!!!!
Or they just seem so...
Tuesday afternoon, no news from the car people and rain threatened as usual. LightShadow appeared to the rescue, and using her magical powers she teleported me home. Since I craved some real food, I took the liberty of actually cooking something… the idea was to surprise the mage as he would arrive early that night… The mage appeared soon enough, with food of his own and a beautiful bouquet of roses. Since he craved some real food too, we left the chicken for the next day. He had rented some movies, but since he had to get up early we decided to watch just one: Kokkuru… Gosh… Long boring attempt at a ghost story that somehow tapped on lesbian love to end up in death… Whatever… The whole movie was slow, predictable, boring and failed to give a scare. Oh, well…
Wednesday, Independence Day! Gosh, I remember the times of ID4 and the commotion it created… Seems like ages ago… The mage had to wake up with the chickens to make it to work at 6am. He called me around 8am, letting me know he had called the hojalatero and that they were working, so the car should be fixed in the afternoon. I was like, whatever, and went back to sleep. The heat woke me up around 10am, so I started to arrange all misplaced things on the second floor, trying to place things in a kitty-friendly way… Now that’s a quest! I dislike the idea of taking the kitties out of their room, they have grown used to it and it is a better way to control their wherabouts when there is no human around… But sadly, without cash there’s nothing else I can do but bear with it… Maybe later on I’ll be able to actually do a room for them… In the meantime… Put things in order, ate something, and by 1pm I started feeling really bad. By 3pm I was throwing up, was completely breathless and sweating like hell… Damn, that house and heatstrokes! One cannot pass a midday there without getting something thanks to the high temperatures… The hojalatero called around 3:30pm saying the car was done, and the mage arrived a little after that… I was out, but had to make an effort to go get the car, four days without it had proven a pain in the whoohoo… So we went, he checked things and it all seemed fine (I was too in zombie mode to actually notice anything) and so we made it back home.
Over there, the happy trio (Raven, Groundel & LightShadow) was waiting seated on beach chairs and surrounded by red ants… Geesh, Anthill is a name that fits too well… Those little things don’t give a break! I just said hi and went straight to the bedroom, I just couldn’t stand being standing any longer. Nausea and dizziness is quite a bitch. So it seems I dozed off quite fast, when I woke up it was around 7pm, and the mage was finishing cleaning the dishes. He gave me a briefing of the cleaning crew and the tasks done. They worked quite fast on it all, apparently without any drama. Wheee o algo. A government car passed by saying that they would throw some poison for the mosquitoes early in the morning, so we had to close the whole house, leaving the kitties away from their room (as there are two broken windows in there)… Nothing like living in a microwave oven… So, heated up the BBQ chicken and watched the other two movies: Unrest and Wes Craven’s New Nightmares. UNREST: Good with tension, it surprised me with the Aztec disturbance idea… The acting was not so bad, the setting was appropriate to create the right atmosphere, the creepiness of the dead bodies was excellent. A common idea executed surprisingly well. Nice rental. NEW NIGHTMARES: Ugh! I don’t know… the idea of real life mixed with the movies is not so original, and it didn’t do it for me. If I want to see an insane child and a desperate mom I rather watch The Omen. So I still think that the good one was the first one… period.
At 4:30am I woke up as I heard the noise from the poison truck… As I was commenting that to the mage, the smell of it invaded everything leaving me nauseous once more… dizzy and with a big headache. There’s no end to it… Either the house hates me because it is EVIL, or Anthill hates me because it is EVIL! There’s no other way of putting it… I don’t feel well, but came to work anyway because I know that if I stay at home the heat will make things worst… I don’t know if I’ll be able to stay sane with this seemingly stupid problem… which turns into a big headache and into instant life disruption. Between the restless nights and the heatstrokes on daylight I get no rest at all. It sucks badly… And the A/C keeps laughing at me while seating in the floor… Grrr!

CAR WOES
... part 2
Because part 1 was yesterday when I was in the car's place and there was no one and my car was unfinished... and I was almost left stranded there... I was lucky Cook had waited for me and not left me right away... I was sooooo pissed!!!
At night was forced to have a light dinner (no groceries...) which I filled with watermelon and papaya… bad idea. Seems it had a big diuretic effect, so had to awaken each two hours to go to the bathroom… Ugh! Needless to say, had almost no sleep at all. Woke up around 10am, feeling like crap…
The mage took me to the car place and still, my car is NOT finished, the owner is nowhere to be found and the employee seems quite pissed about it all… He hinted that the owner should close the place… Things that makes you go hmm… Every time I get a connection or someone is recommended to me and I hire him, he goes either rotten or closes its business while attending me… Should I feel any kind of guilt? Am I the black cloud that could also be named The Closer? Or is it simple bad luck? Or karma? Or just some unknown force having plenty of fun at my misery?
So… Asked the mage to leave me at work… Now I’m pondering who will take me home… And so, tomorrow will be a happy happy joy joy day since the mage will go to work at 6am… Meaning I’ll be stranded alone in that oven of a house for the whole day… Happy 4 of July to me!
Whatever… Lemonade from lemons…

Rainbow Brite!
Finally, something RIGHT!
This weekend was all about colors… at least about painting and colors… Friday night I went to pick up Groundel, we ate and then he called LightShadow to find out she was meeting with Raven at the local bookstore... so he was summoned as well... I left him there and headed home. Bleached half of my hair, and around 9pm got a call from someone who wanted to check the area I wanted to trim in the house... So, the Cook and the Cockguy made it to the far away land, and Cockguy agreed to pass by Saturday to do the job. Yay!
On Saturday, had to leave my car early in the morning at the hojalatero, who gave me the lovely news that the work will be a hundred more and that some pieces had to be bought new which adds two hundred more… for a grand total of $500… The mage went to get new brakes and oil for his car, and we found time to even visit the Plaza del Mercado to get a pinapple, papaya and strawberries. Arrived at home in the afternoon and so we started priming/painting the parts that belong to the left side of the house… Fun & music & work…Oh, lovely orange and lovely yellow... The place will either look like a bright sunflower or the entrance to hell. Yay! Also dyed my bleach hair in lovely vampyr red... Finally feel like I'm 50% myself again.
Around mid-afternoon got a call from Cockguy that was to pass by to trim the jungle. So he got there and put his equipment to work. In the meanwhile, LightShadow appeared with Groundel and stayed trying to help for a little while. They ended up getting some chicken pinchos at RedCape, which were yummy! And after finishing a wall’s edge and getting some of their clothes messed up with paint, they had to go. The guy at the jungle finished his job and got paid for his valiant effort. And so, the mage and I were left alone as in the start… Night fell upon us, the first coat of the walls was done, and we were left a lot cranky and tired. The mage had a strong headache, dehydration and upset stomach followed with nausea and eye pain. Yup, heatstroke, for short. I was not feeling too good myself, both sides of my belly hurt, so I retreated to my den and dozed off for what was left of the day.
Sunday, woke up before midday, enjoyed some chit-chat with the mage before he headed towards work (this week he’ll try getting more hours to try balancing expenses…). Began drying up my hair to see the results and yes, flaming red under the black top. Loved it! By midday I was all alone in that house, wondering what to do… No car, no food… Blah… Thought about scrapbooking, but without the facilities that is no fun… So decided to give the whole room the mandatory second coat of paint. Began the task at 1pm… Again, LightShadow and Groundel appeared in the middle of the afternoon, offering some help. They started cleaning outside, but then Groundel began feeling really bad thanks to his open wound in his foot and to having only breakfast in his body… So, off they went to gather food… I kept on painting. Upon their second arrival I left things undone to eat, preach Groundel about his foot, and then preach some more about his attitude with/about the mage (which is beginning to bother me a lot). Nightfall was coming, and so they went, not before catching a glimpse at the bird from hell that always starts talking in my window at 5am each morning, a pitirre. So, after they left, I kept on finishing the painting quest. I dared to go up the stairs and do the trim near the ceiling, being very slow and taking my time going up and down… I don’t need to break Deirdre’s head yet. Around 9pm the mage arrived, opening the door to find me on the stairs doing the last of the trim… Ok, so I was busted… LOL It was when I went down and looked at the bag with the veggie sandwich that I felt suddenly tired… So, took a bath, ate my dinner and finally went to bed. Weekend came to an end…
Monday morning… I just wanted to stay sleeping, but duty… Damn duty, give me my favorite pillow! Oh, well… The mage delivered me at work, and so the whole day has passed… System was down at Aguadilla, giving problems… Couldn’t do much since there was noone to take me there and I had no car. At midday a coworker gave me her lasagna (a real lasagna, meat and cheese… I was in heaven!) and I sent for a baked potato and a side salad. Spent part of the afternoon outside my office, talking it out to avoid falling asleep. Got someone to take me to the hojalatero to get my car when I get off work… Hopefully it will be done. I just want to go home and sleep…

Nice, relaxing day...
Sleepless night...
Nightmarish morning as the Mage painted a wall in Sweet Papaya, and what I thought would be a nice tangy thing turned pinkish... Ewww! So, need to get paint to cover that eyesore... for the weekend, if rain stops...
For some variety in life, yesterday was the doctor's appointment so took the day off for that endeavour. Everything is peachy and got some pics of Deirdre as well.
Afterwards, rain was a menace so went to look for a haven and El Calvo was at home. Stayed there for almost nightfall. He agreed to be the Mage's godfather for his Confirmation in August 24th... (hopefully it all wont end in the hospital with me), I'm due on the 25th... LOL And he treated me to a boricua homemade fruit salad.
The evening went fast, rain started pouring harder so I went home in a blink. Kitties were complaining, but couldn't let them out in the house, the stairs were wet. So, made a double whammy for me, as I was really starving, and then checked some old places that I don't visit so often. Updated this and that, and finally got sleepy... almost by the time the Mage arrived... And when he did, later on I woke up to grab a snack and we stayed talking beyond midnight... So, I am REALLY sleepy, only 5 hours of sleep... This will be a long, long day...
Looking forward to Transformers next week, and of course Harry Potter for the other one. In the meanwhile... Whatever seems decent...

Inferno, storm and paperwork
... Eve of my so-called-life...
Finally took the paperwork to AEELA for the death insurance. It won’t probably make it on time for July1st, so it will almost certainly be approved for August… Yup, everything will be August… The return from the taxes will be received by July 31st… In the meanwhile, a whole month of being screwed awaits… Oh well, like that will change from present status… I wanted to get some things done, but seems that everything conspires against what I plan… Whatever. As long as there’s food in the table, defeat of enemy and weeping of their women everything will be just fine.
I just got here at work, and there was no water so most people went with the wind… I was told so, but I stayed. I cant come tomorrow because I have a gyn appointment, plus the A/C here is priceless… There’s an inferno out there… that will be followed by plenty of rain, as I know that in the afternoon it will be impossible because there was a bad weather forecast… Infernal mornings, stormy afternoons, and nights filled with stress because of the stupid flying vermin that comes out whenever it rains… Ugh!
Groundel took his papers to the Reforma and at least that is done… He should get that card on Friday. One down, just Vivienda and Cupones to go. I’ll see if there is any way that El Calvo can bring some light on the Vivienda issue, since he knows the marshall of Anthill… perhaps a bit of pull could help a-lot… In the meanwhile, efforts now should be focused on Cupones. Let’s see how that story unfolds…
Raven needs 5th grade books for her son, so if any of you know or got those, donations are accepted.
I need someone who knows how to use a machete and is not afraid to show it off… So, if anyone knows such person, any info will be deeply appreciated. I need to get rid of the forest surrounding my house.
And that’s all for today…

Rain and brains
...
Not feeling too talkative. Tired and busy, mostly. This last weekend was sucky, rain disturbed all the plans... Did saw some movies, though...
Fantastic 4: Burp! That's my opinion. Liked the Silver Surfer, hated Reed and Sue, absolutely hated Jessica Alba (why, why, why, WHY was she casted as Sue?), dissapointed at DrDoom (but no one can performs miracles with such a bad script)... The best thing was Galactus, and you only see him once, so imagine...
Arang: A korean horror flick... mixed with some detective work (God, detectives that don't even use gloves to conceal their prints... Hmmm)... All in all, I liked it. Plenty of burrowed moments from diverse asian flicks (the long haired gal with blood-shot eyes, the deadly email & website, the ruthless revenge, the creepy sounds and play with ambience/shadows)... But the Mother & Child allegory throughout the film was really nice. Sad and creepy when the body of the mother & child are found... Haven't seen rape portrayed as it was in here, as core of all events for the girls grudge and the detective's desire to find someone... A good rental.
Wicked Little Things: LOL The Horrorfest flicks are turning out as very amusing linear films that are not so bad... We know what it is about, but the way they unfold the story is entertaining enough to keep interest on it. In this one, we expect the mindless zombie kids who died in a mine by 1913... We get a present day mom turned widow, left with only this creepy hill house in the middle of nowhere, and who decides to move into it (no more choices, she's alone and broke, and with a girl and a teenager). I really liked the forest shots, eerie and darkly beautiful. The mom slowly learns about her husband's family past, the truth about the local lore, the "ghosts" of the mines, and fights the real enemy. A bit corny, of course... but what the heck... much better than Freddy vs Jason, that's certain! Another good rental in a boring night.
Need to get my medical record at El Fondo, to see if the AEELA thinguie can move and be approved for July... If not, I guess August will do... Whatever. I'm quite drained from all that's going on. Deirdre feeds off my energy, leaving me with almost no resources to do the basics. I want to sleep and can't because of the friggin heat. Want to paint, but the rain wont let me... Want to trim the house surroundings but HELLO! can't even pick up a pick... LOL Oh, well... Guess that I'll stay making plans, writing them down, figuring out how to schedule them on the mage's agenda without killing him... I really feel like doing absolutely NOTHING. I just want to be floating in a shaded swimming pool, surrounded by blackberry ice pops. Wishful thinking...

A Tie Between Goddess and Drow...
Of course, you all know my preference...
In any case, both seem quite appropriate anyway.
Hmmm... Sometimes these tests can be too spooky in terms of accuracy... Sheesh!

In any case, both seem quite appropriate anyway.
You scored as Drow, You are a Drow, a very ancient breed of elf. They major in magicks. They very dark and mysterious and never trust anyone. Very shady, lonesome people. Lighten up and go to a party. You might meet someone special there... ^.~
What ancient breed are you? created with QuizFarm.com |
You scored as Goddess, You are a goddess. Your constantly helping people with their problems, but you never take time for you. You should try to take some alone time. Take a trip far away, where noone knows you. It will be good for you, because you deserve a break.

FATHER's DAY, Sun & Rain & Shadows
... Blah!
What a sucky weekend… The more you want to do the less you can do due to circunstance… The positive thing about it all was that at least the mage and I got to spend the whole weekend together. The negative things were mainly that we couldn’t do all that was required because of either the weather or ill intended people…
Friday night I simply went home. Placed pictures in a CD so I can send them someday to be revealed. I had rented some movies, but by the time the mage arrived I was completely out of service catching Z’s… I actually woke up by almost 4am, and so we saw one of the movies at that time… ABANDONED: what a crappy movie… Maybe a good idea, a completely lame execution. The idea of the doppelgangers was cool, though… So, at 5:30am we went back to sleep… The friggin birdies were talking too much, so it took me a while but finally zoned out.
Saturday… Midday. We both were kinda in blah mode, so we just watched the DIARY OF ELLEN RIMBAUER: Prequel to RoseRed… I really like RoseRed and the Diary was a nice little compendium of all the reasons why RoseRed exists… Wanted to watch RoseRed afterwards, but the CD of my dear movie would not cooperate… So, by almost 5pm we got out of the house, delivered the movies, got a bucket of Siliconizer and paint and made it in time for church. Father Edwin was really happy to see us, reminded the Mage of the confirmations (which were changed to, guess the date… August 24… Eeeeck!). After mass we went to eat some Chinese mofongo, and then headed home. We watched THE LIBERTINE, which turned out to be a hilarious treat. Gotta LOVE Johny Depp! Since we foresaw getting early to put the Siliconizer on the ceiling, we kinda went straight to bed.
Sunday… Oh we got early… by 8am… Not feeling up to much. I thougt I would just say goodbye to the mage, as it was after all Father’s Day and I expected him to go pick up his little girl and have a day of fun with her… I would simply go to Auntie’s and do the laundry, and come back to sleep… I was feeling beyond drained already, the day was too sunny…
As I went upstairs to get breakfast I saw the mage hanging up his cell, evidently bothered/pissed/you name it. His ex called saying she was not at home or in the area and that the child was with her, so he should not have to pick her up. WTF? The woman excels at being a bitch for the sake of it… She does what she wants when she wants, taking the mage in NO consideration at all in her decisions… not even letting him know out of politeness.
After a small while of me preaching with some anger, he called his ex’s parent’s house, and turns out she has been in a resort since Friday night… Lovely. Too much work on her side to let the mage know what she was up to… I hope he gets the point that either he do something to at least have legal rights, or to accept fate as it comes and not cry over it so much because wanting to be involved is not being involved for real.
Both the mage and I come from divorced parents, we both had difficult experiences based on that… But one thing is certain: a real parent is not an idea, but the one who is there all the time, studying with you, punishing you, wiping your tears, playing with you, pushing you to be all you can be… One day a week doesn’t make a real difference, no matter how you put it. Especially when it is certain that there is really no interest on the other family to actually include you in the child’s life… Either you include yourself by gutsy wits, or you stay away on purpose… Whining and doing nothing doesn’t really solve anything. And in the end, all becomes a big emotional snowball that crashes and melts… and all that stays is regret. True story…
So… the mage wanted to go out, so we went on the road. He drove until we reached Ponce… Not much to see, everything was closed because it was Father’s Day… So, we came back. In the way we decided to try a new route to get home, through 119. And from sunny, dry landscapes we got into rainy rainforest ambience… The wonders of the island… After a longaleer drive, he reached home. Heavy rain followed, then the sun came up as if nothing had happened… Nature, and its lessons… I stayed in the couch with the fan blasting some air, and so we started watching Xena:Season3. In the middle of it all, prepared some dinner, while the mage fought with the flying invaders that began trying to get into the house at nightfall… After 7 episodes, decided it was time to sleep… And so the weekend came to a closure…
Monday morning. The cell rings its alarm. A new day, heralding the new week… heralding work… I feel drained and exhausted, just want to stay in bed for the whole day… But it was only 6:15 and the heat was already rising. I need to put that A/C on the friggin wall… seems that a good night’s rest is stolen by the climate… feels as if I had not slept at all! Nauseous and dizzy, tired and overheated… and I made it to my office. I need to go to Aguadilla, but there’s no transportation available until Wednesday.
I can’t drive like this… so I guess I’m stuck here… in my lovely fridge… Blah… Gotta pay one of the past due finance bank… And gotta find out when the car’s back can finally be fixed.. that needs to be taken care of without further delay. Both things will leave me broke, another usual state that doesn’t help in anything… but well… what else is there to do? Everything is behind… and between that fact and the bad moments that people clash thanks to their stupidity, the shine of the promise of a better day fades… Reality is a blunt bitch that helps the bad and feasts on the flesh of the good. So, nothing changes…
Feeling: Moody, sad, breathless, irritated, angry, bothered, troubled, worried, anxious, concerned, pissed… Wish I could lock myself up in a dark room with A/C, and stay there for a whole week… no people, no facts, no daylight, total alienation… Just food, the mage and me…
10-4

Fathers Day video
...
Padre invidente hizo su sueño realidad
And to celebrate Father’s Day, here’s a little link that should add some spark to the date, as well as make you think of what is REALLY important in life… A nice little video about a blind PuertoRican father and how he accomplished his dreams… Enjoy!

A Joke about PR...
(Yes, pun is intended)
Al personaje no le gustó nada y se fue a ver en que consistían los otros infiernos. Tanto el infierno estadounidense como el ruso y el resto de infiernos de distintas naciones hacían lo mismo;

Long days...
Longer nights...
Yesterday kept on being a long day. Picked up Groundel to take him to ARV so he could ask about his case. Raven passed by and took him to Anthill so he could make some inquiries at the Housing Dept. over there… Not much luck about that… Long waiting list, and he was advised to look for housing at Hometown since the odds are better… At least he got the paperwork that he needs to fill out. I passed by at midday to bring him back to ARV so he could talk to the counselor… I don’t really feel there’s much help there either but… whatever… Someone contacted from the disability form he filled over the net, and it was in the last conversation that they mentioned they did not belong to the gov disability program and that royalties if he gets disability help is 25% of what he gets… So we are hoping he gets nothing that way. Sheesh… it’s not like he would get that much anyway, and on top of that 25% off would not be so good either.
At night, went with LS and Groundel to wee Pirates of the Caribbean 3, again. Since I liked the movie, and Johny Depp, that was not much of a sacrifice. In all the fuzz I forgot to give LS something, so REMIND ME NEXT TIME!
My brain is not working too properly… I’m very worried about Groundel’s situation (someone has to worry), the heat in this friggin island is simply too much leaving me completely drained and exhausted by nightfall, and I’ve reached the beginning of the third trimester so now I’m worried of all the what ifs that may come plus adding the increase in stupidity from people. I’m concerned about all the things that must be done and still are in a halt, but not much that I can do about that… I can’t hurry as much right now, simply have no energy at all to fight destiny, and just want to be left alone. Being responsible for 70% of stuff is not fun, and it doesn’t help in the relaxing corner… Having to come to an office that makes me beyond anxious everyday is not fun either. Driving around feeling nauseous and sick all the time is not fun at all. The killer is always people and their comments, advise, pep-talk, you name it… For a no-nonsense realistic person like me, having all these pink butterflies fluttering around pestering me is worst than migraine. Sometimes a deep cavern in the Underdark is the best wishful thinking one can get…
The BabyShower Crew seems to be moving their butts. It was a good idea creating that… I would have not been able to actually focus on doing a shower, too many things going on around me. From the bits that I’ve heard, it all is going beyond what I expected… so as long as there is a diabetic cake and no sugar ice cream, whatever comes up is simply perfect. I hope Coriolis can contact the people on the Mage’s side, and that they actually show up. The Mage thinks so highly of them, and holds them in high regard in his heart, and I hate to see they are not around just because they don’t like me much. The past cannot be changed, but so many years should lead to some kind of maturity at least in thought and logic, if not in feelings. I hope that they put friendship first and that they show the Mage how much they value him and how happy they are for him.
So, that’s the main headlines in Neverland… for the day at least… We’ll have two weekends of commotion, one with Father’s Day and the other with the night of SanJuan. The isle where the fun never stops… Right…

Many things, many things
...
Friday: False WIC alert, made a booboo since the date was for August. In the afternoon our dear LightShadow graduated from RUM for the second time, being Magna Cun Laude… (High Honor, you infidels!) So, many congratulations and celebrations and happy thoughts and wishes for all the success that she deserves!
Saturday: Nutritionist appointment in the morning… She’s very pleased with all the controls in food and gave me green light so I don’t see her again until after the birthing, if nothing gets out of control.
Sunday: Stayed at home movie watching while trying to combat the Grapefruit blues… CURSE THE GRAPEFRUIT!
Monday: Official appointment at the gyn, Deirdre is very much fine and so the doc is also happy with me. Whee or something… Unofficial appointment at the other doc who told me she wanted to see me… Oh, big mistake… thanks to that got an upset angry child and nausea and overall irritating blahness…
Tuesday: Third appointment at the Labor courses thinguie… Today it was all about nutrition. Also took Groundel to the cupones place so he can start his needful schemes. Back in the office… lovely cold place… La-la-la…

Info, info...
la-la-la...
Trying to get stuff done, little amount of time, too much heat and nausea to go any faster… Groundel should be out of the hospital today (Yay!). Went to catch some Pirates on Friday… A very fulfilling experience. :D Deirdre becoming the next Chung-Li… And that’s about it. Hopefully things will run smoothly in the office today, don’t feel like moving too much. Tomorrow the birthing courses start on mornings, so I’ll be off my office on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the morning, just for this month. The mage has a class on July (next month, next month) and may embark on some do-it-yourself projects this week, if the sun behaves.
Nothing further in Neverland…

COUNTDOWN TO A KILL
(pfffttt!)
Yup. Right. It's all about people, their stupid words, their stupid thoughts, their stupid ways of affecting your simple chaotic life... It is better to have a barrier and witness everything from the looking glass... Fed up with the displays of hipocrites and clowns... Kill them all!
At work, being trying to work... Receiving all this crappy input about babies... Tolerating so no blood is on my hands... Being completely unhappy from 8:00am to 4:30pm... Wanting to be left alone, to be able to eat just what I want when I want, to be able to roam castles in England or walk the long walk of the Great China Wall... But no... Instead I am trapped in this maze that leads nowhere, surrounded by cheese-brains that don't see beyond their nose and don't hear beyond their ears...
At home... Same old, same old. It's a lonely place up there in the top of the mountain... And its depressing seeing things in stasis, as time stopped it all...
Feeling anxious, lonely, and sad. Not much to do but visit Groundel when I get out of work, and then go home to achieve total isolation. At least the few hours that I can spend with the mage make me smile after midnight and at breakfast...
Trying to do lemon pie with all these lemons... Want some?

Long weekend
and time flying...
Got up at mid-morning on Saturday. We set to travel to Arecibo as we had planned. Got a call from the Texas crew giving thanks for the b-day card I sent… wow, it arrived in 2 days without using priority… I was impressed! LOL They seemed happy and alive.
In the way, the mage asked for water and reaching Quebradillas there was a group from a church giving water for free… People disbelieved the signs of free water, but well… After seeing that the freshmakers did open the door and did got water bottles for free everyone started opening their windows up. That was fun. The bottles stated “God quenches your soul’s thirst” and had the church’s service times. I think that was a very original and useful campaign… It would be nice if people were that creative when doing anything… Positive creativity. So, we reached Arecibo at midday, the sun was too overpowering and we ended up at Plaza del Norte. My main targets were not accomplished… but at least found some pieces that should help with the clothing woes as well as we got the miraculous electronic bug-spider buster. When coming back heavy rain greeted us around Quedradillas, but by reaching Añasco it was gone… so we could finally get a decent meal at my favorite BBQ place. We finally reached home after 9pm, being quite beat. We put the pest controller and half an hour later three spiders showed up dazed and confused… Haven’t seen anyone else since then… Not that I’m complaining.
Sunday morning I woke up before noon. After breakfast, went on to try putting up some pictures in the barren walls downstairs… The new walls are bland, but the original walls need drilled holes to actually hold anything… so, took a bath and parted with the mage. He went to his normal Sunday’s fatherly duties, and I went to the hospital to give Groundel a quick visit and leave him with some horror movies. The hospital room is now in the 3rd floor, room 319. If you want to call, 834-0101x3219. Afterwards, went to auntie’s place, did some laundry and took all my plush dolls to the small bedroom placing them on the shelves. Wanted to move other toy boxes but they were heavy and looked filled with spiders so I left that for later. Went home, let the kitties free for a while and cooked something for the whole week. The mage arrived before 8:00pm, brought some movies and so we watched one, a Korean horror movie, Cinderella… basically a stepmother thinguie mixed up with plastic surgery. Entertaining enough.
Monday was Memorial Day… so no work. The mage went to get a friend of his that do construction work and so, so the guy could see the immediate necessities and tell us how much would it cost. I think it was fair enough… But we need to get all materials, and since we have nothing right now (still the car to pay…) that will have to wait another month. Yupi… Went to auntie’s to sort the spider boxes and take the novels and albums with me, and then to visit Groundel in the hospital… Left him with Cinderella and Dora the Explorer: The musical. LMAO! By 3pm, went to Lulú’s place in Sabana Grande to check up her computer… That endeavor took until 9pm. We went home, the mage took everything from the car, and we finally went to bed at midnight…
Today, wanted to stay in bed but I know I better get up and go to work… Better leave days for when I need them. Next week the birthing courses begin, and they are 6 classes… two weekly, and all during weekday mornings… So that means 3 days off, sort of… So I cannot push it. We are supposed to have the last week of July free… that is a small relief… No word of Coriolis or Raven. Everything has been very quiet…
Feeling a bit crappy, a bit sad, a lot stressed…but then, what is new?

Groundel @ hospital (how strange) and then some
(not treats but what the heck...)
Ah, the mission… Groundel is in the hospital… Again. He was complaining about leg pain on Wednesday, and then last night. He told me to forget about it, and then called me at 10pm saying he had a fever. Oh, by now I really know what that means… Since I was quite beat and drained and kinda pondered if I could drive or not I got really anxious and nervous and so started vomiting… The mage arrived early, found me quite distressed and was to make his good deed of the week… But I called up and one of Groundel’s friends was around. I gave him the very sound and clear instructions to take Groundel to the hospital, not the clinic, so they could take care of him in case of complications… and to call me from ER when they had news. Two hours later, ChickenBig called teling me that they had taken Groundel’s pressure and that he was without fever by then, and that they were waiting for the doctor to give the go so they could take him home. I laughed at that, and the boy became silent. I asked if they had put the suerito on Groundel’s arm, and he said no. So I gave him the free prediction: Groundel shall stay all night long and you guys can go home… they won’t let him go because he has an infection and will give intra-vein medicines. And so, that’s what happened. I got no further calls, but had a light and not so restful sleep.
The mage had to go to get some government papers, so he got up quite early. I took the same train so I could go to the hospital before going to work. Yup, Groundel was at ER, gave him a peanut butter sandwich and a Snapple courtesy of the mage, and then went to work… He expected to be out by midday. I kinda laughed at that, for I knew that a nice resort would be around the corner… I got a call from Groundel before lunchtime. He needed someone to go there and fill up the admissions papers. His doctor had passed by and has seen everything was ok, but wanted to keep medicating the leg to be sure that the infection would be completely gone. So now he has to stay for a few days at the Perea Resort… three meals a day, A/C, cable and phone included in the package. I’ll make certain he gets a bottle of sunless tanning lotion… so he can later on brag about having gone on vacation or something… LOL Oh, well… At least he will be able to sleep now… He was not sleeping more than 4 hours a day because eof the heat and the overall ambience at his so-called home. Perhaps the small vacation is just what he needed to lighten up a bit… The only thing now is that I cannot be hibernating at the hospital to keep him company because of my pregnancy… I have to stay away from sick people and germs. So that will be something… Hopefully his clan of friends will visit enough to make him feel not so left out.
This is a long weekend, and all in all we’ll try to take some time to smell the roses… The Mage and I have been fuzzing too much with the house and everything else that comes with it, and so we may at least take one day off.
Oh, and there may be some hope for the spider invasion at home… Although I am very skeptic about it, a coworker that lives near my house expressed how he keeps the critters at bay, with an electronic pest repellant. He warned me that the first two weeks I will see them everywhere, as they will be forced outside their shelter, but that after that they will be gone. So… If that really works, it is a priceless advise. My next mission…LOL About the comejen invation, he tells me that from april to early june it is normal for them to buzz around annoying everyone. That later on they vanish… And the aftermath is that you get a house with everything wooden filled with it… so I better beware and fumigate everything to make sure that is taken care of…
Work has been very slow. I just need the cold comfort of the office… Outside, the environment is raging and it is simply too much! The world keeps on spinning, and a promise of a new day lives on… The Almighty insists on having fun, and who are we to deny him of it?

A BIG MAC, Buggy Attack and PIRATES!
Yesterday, doctor’s appointment. Early in the morning went with the mage to get him some clothing, then to the doctor’s office. Finally, the little one showed herself. It’s a GIRL! As someone stated, an Amazon on the prowl… Prepare for Deirdre Valeria. Cool, huh?
At night, got attacked by termites… then a spider wouldn’t let me in the bathroom… I had to resign myself to being locked up safely in my bedroom until the mage arrived. Today, found a snail perched up in the bathroom wall… How the heck it got there? Damn! That house has too many creaks and crevices… and to find them all and seal them all I’ll need the help of the Vodu Queen… So, my buggy woes go on…
Gotta finish some work at Aguadilla today, hopefully will be in my office after midday… Don’t feel like going around too much.
WATCH OUT FOR PIRATES!!!!

BRIEFING
Past weekend… work overload… too tired to tell the detailed tale.
The briefing:
FRIDAY: Got out of work at 5:30 pm on Friday due to a meeting, and had a b-day decór meeting at 6:30pm that last until 10:30pm. Straight to bed…
SATURDAY: Woke up at 9:00am to finish placing the antennas on the butterflies. By 11:00am made it with the mage to the b-day place, and so we finished up the balloons placing and other details. By 2:00pm we were out of there… So, I wanted to get some curtains and so we went to CaboRojo’s heart stores. Found a fountain, found a red and orange retro rod, found some rods… but no curtains. So we went to Western Plaza, still no luck. Being on the road again, we ended up in Aguadillla. Pitusa had a bird nest that I got for auntie’s parakeet (so the egg stress fades away). They also have a kitty condo that is completely awesome, bigger than the one I have… but can’t get it… so just admired it and walked away… At Aguadilla Mall found the perfect terracotta shade that I wanted for the curtains, and some pillows for the dining room. I liked many baby things in Capri over there… They have everything for a HelloKitty baby nursery. We arrived home almost at 9:00pm, and by then we started moving furniture to its rightful place (mostly the mage moved stuff, I just placed the cardboard pieces and help drag some…). Yes, I’m a slave driver. The living room/dining room seems to be coming alive, after more than 3 months of waiting… It was 1:00am, and we finally went to sleep…
SUNDAY: Midday… Met the mage and his Munchkin at the mall. Dissapointed at the stuff I wanted to get and that I couldn’t because it wasn’t there (must go back to Aguadilla)… Went to auntie’s, placed a nest for the parakeets and did the laundry. Went home around 5:00pm. Let the kitties roam for a while, then began the curtain rod placing… The mage arrived, and so we stayed up until midnight cleaning the furniture with almond Old English and placing some decorations around… The living room and the dining room are almost 80% done, and so far look gorgeous! It may turn into a nice haven after all…
MONDAY: Work… Draining me as usual… Taken to SanGermán during the morning, to move a PC… Had a small showdown with the locals who think they are boss… Enough to make me beyond tin roof! Then, taken to Aguadilla during the afternoon to move 2 computers… configure them and try making people happy. Arrived at 5:00pm, so I could get some bandages for Groundel, so I could finally reach home before 7:00pm. Took a bath and went to sleep around 8:00pm. Woke up at midnight, had a snack, small chit-chat and back to sleep… Drained, drained, drained…
TUESDAY: At work… have managed to stay within my office the whole morning, don’t know if I will be able to keep it up in the afternoon… Anyway… Very drained… Just want a bed, A/C and to keep on sleeping. Gotta pay some stuff, and see if I can sleep more tonight… Last week was too much work for not much pay. Just as it always happens… That’s the main reason I do nothing for profit, because in the end I don’t get paid what I should. People don’t value creative works… they just view it as cheap nonsense… that looks grand. Anyway… The overload of working much after hours really drained me. The extra work on weekends is mandatory to patch things up with the mage’s help… I cannot do things around the house alone… I need muscle power. So it has to be Sat & Sun… I hope he doesn’t mind too much. It should be over when all is done, finally. Maybe by end of June?
Tired, restless… Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment, hopefully the sex of the child can finally be addressed! If not, well… PIRATE anyway! And the UTIER will begin a strike tonight at midnight, so that means no light for 24 hours… So much for not affecting the public. And Rosello keeps up with his circus and neverending story… Ugh!
The show goes on…

Some Bull Birthdays!
LOL (no pun intended!)
Many good wishes and good karma sent to the birthday boys: DaddyFromTexas (whose b-day was yesterday) and MrPopuman (whose b-day is today). Taurus boys, very stubborn, very focused on making profit so they are grounded with no problem, very matter of fact... Blunt to some, brutally honest to most... Gotta love these bulls! Hope you both get many gifts, especially spiritual bliss and happiness. You deserve it! Damnit!
Been painting bugs, sleeping little... Today will decorate the main place at night. Tomorrow will put the last details... And hopefully I can get the payment I need to get the nursery combo that I want. It's been labor, for labor sake! La-la-la...
Hopefully will put together the left side of the 1st floor during this weekend. I'm pissed that the stairs/celining guy stood me up on Tuesday and Wednesday... Will call today with the last chance. If that won't do, then gotta find someone else... I need to put the AC... The heat is unbearable thanks to the so-called Polvos del Sahara... Nature my ass! I just think is a complot to destroy all intelligent life in PR simply by dehydration... Sheesh!
Mother Earth is getting bitchy and ruthless... Can't blame her. It's paytime! And she will have absolutely no regrets... Life will go on one way or the other. We are not indispensable.
Lookout for next week! The Pirates are near! Arck! Arck! FINALLY! Something Deep to look forward to... Ok, Depp, Depp... Lighten up, LOL

3,2,1... Engage!
And yes, another very busy weekend...
FRIDAY: They let mothers go at 3pm, so I went to rent two movies: The Painted Veil and The Persuit of Happiness. Arrived home early since the mage was waiting for me, ate some and so the movie night was arranged. And then to catch some Z’s…
SATURDAY: Slept until 10am. The mage had started painting the walls corners and had prepped some breakfast. I got ready, so by midday we went out of the house set on the mission of getting a fan for the family to see if we can actually survive the summer. Got a good deal for two shirts and got some dye for my hair. The mage passed by his friend’s house to see if he could gather some help but his friend was out of service. So, we headed home. Upon arrival, he set on the mission of placing the fan in the wall, then finishing up the painting edges downstairs. In the meanwhile I messed up with my hair bleaching the tips. Began repairing the ladybugs that got all stick together thanks to the damn heat. So, repaired the ladybugs red base until midnight. By then I had a nice back pain, and felt completely drained… so I surrender to the Sandman.
SUNDAY: MOTHER’s DAY. Woke up by midmorning and after a hearty breakfast engaged on the bug painting endeavour… Groundel called to congratulate me. He’s the only one that always call… everyone else is too busy. Life goes on. Finished the ladybugs and the bees and the fireflies’s bodies. Began the wings but became quite burned up after the third set, so left it all at 5pm. I realized I had no lunch … bad move… So, by then, went with the mage to visit auntie and enjoyed her infamous Virginia Ham. Washed some wrestling, and kinda did my hair. Stopped at the in-law’s house so the mage would pick up and deliver something, and then went home. Tried to re-arrange the closet to have the usable clothing in one side and the out-of-limits on the other side. By 10pm took a bath, had a snack and the mage put on a movie. So, we watched Million Dollar Baby until it finished almost at 1am… And then to sleep some…
So, at work again… the never-ending race that each time goes faster and faster… No word from anyone, and feeling quite tired. The child b-day thing is this next weekend, so got to finish the fireflies, make the butterflies and prepare at least some flowers to complement the cartoonish bugs. All this must be done between today and Wednesday… Ugh! Let’s see what can be accomplished… I do hope I get at least a hundred… that would complete the cash to get the cradle combo. Auntie told me mommy has a cradle that used to belong to psycho-uncle’s child… but I don’t know. I’ll have to see it. The car guy has not called, and the ceiling guy has not call either… Gotta see what can be done in the meanwhile…
Feeling very tired, on the edge of another exhaustion… Wanting to simply be in bed, but that is the perennial wish that must be denied… Ugh! Got to check the pre-natal free courses I was told about so we can sign up in time. Got to start packing up on diapers… that seems to be a big headache in itself. Got to keep a solid grasp on the diet this week, I was too loose with the Saturday lasagna and Sunday Ham, and the sugar went up… What the heck… It’s my first Mother’s Day, damnit. There must be some sort of celebration, or something… Keeping the sugar where it belongs is quite a pain in the whoohoo. I’m getting tired of all the healthy stuff that ain’t my favorites but that are mandatory evils… Once in a while, I want nothing but a Whopper… And that is exactly the one thing I can’t get at least until I give birth… And I say at least, because the diabetic diet is forever. Yay, now let’s do the Bartdance…
The mage has been bearing with my mood swings quite gracefully. He do everything he can, and then more. It is always comforting knowing that one way or the other he is there to watch over me… so my guardian angel can take some breaks to put off the fire in its wings! I’m glad that little by little things are falling into place in most matters… Finances will always be our pithole, so we just have to keep going using the security cords that trapeze actors use… because the show must go on.

Shake, shake, shake...
and then burst!
I’ve been sick for the last two days, complete exhaustion in the main menu. The heat has been too strong and I guess that helps in draining me of the little strength I may have left… Have not been able to do all the things I had planned for these days.
Yesterday Groundel and LightShadow passed by during the late afternoon. We painted some of the bugs, sort of… Between the heat and feeling blah I was not too up to anything. At least the little gathering is always a nice thing, as I laugh for a while.
The mage arrived early thanks to some work trouble. He should be back on track on Monday, and will try taking advantage of the days off to finish painting the living room’s walls and ceiling. Hopefully by Sunday the living room will actually look like one, after all this time. Whatever. It all has been a snowball that keeps growing as it falls upon us, and it all has me completely zoned out, drained, and sad. Seems the gnomes took away the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow…
At work today. Let’s see if I can stand the insanity… My only consolation is that at least my office has North Pole access, it’s A/C is always high… Although lately I feel as if it were just a breeze. I have turned into a high temperature oven… Ugh!

Latest update...
What a weekend!
THURSDAY. Picked up Groundel and went to Western plaza to check out jeans… mine are too tight to be used any longer. Got frustrated at one store, then things looked up at the megastore, where at least I got a pair to wipe away part of the woes. LightShadow met us there, so we all browsed the whole store while gossiping, whining and having fun. Baby stuff is quite pricey and that is beyond frustrating as well. Baby got its first gifts from LightShadow as well, who had bought a monitor, a grooming kit and a health kit for the baby. It was really funny that a week ago when she mentioned the items I thought she was gonna get something for kitties… and I wondered why. LOL Cat people and their obsessive behaviors… Many thanks to LS, she really surprised me with that one. The baby-mode is still kicking in into me, so bear with me… I’m not maternal and I dislike prissy stuff… But the time has come to make arrangements and make way for whatever it is… Also, LightShadow is finally graduating from the computer science thinguie. Much success sent her way! It’s her second degree at RUM, so it’s her second labor. :P Hope she gets the job she deserves, and that she gets to keep on studying. That’s what us bookworms like to do anyway… and in the end is very worth it.
FRIDAY. Went to auntie’s as I got out, but there was no food at all, so I went home so at least I could have some ramen with veggies. Entertained myself checking up the mage’s computer and erasing unused programs while adding useful ones. Found some pics on CDs and added them to the folders as well. Finally in bed after midnight.
SATURDAY. Went with the mage to browse for cradles. Loved the cat statues that we bumped into… Sadly could not buy any of them. Anyway, the best bet is a trio that they sell as combo, featuring cradle, changer and dresser. They only have it in oak and mahogany colors, so I asked Coriolis to check the megastore over there in the Metro area to see if they have it in white. If not, I guess oak will do… I like mahogany but spiders could disguise themselves too easily in it. After the mall, we went to get some Chinese mofongo, and to get some minor household items at the hardware store. Went to watch Spiderman 3. The movie was ok… A bit linear, the actors are definitively aging and not looking as good as they used to… MJ didn’t get to look as lovely as she use to, and the blonde one was not pretty at all… I still don’t get the new Hollywood standards, honest! The Spidey/Venom conflict was ok, not bad but could have been a bit better. Sandman was completely idiotic, and his storyline changed from the evil entity in the comics to the moral thief in the movie… And Harry… well… they had to go full circle ith the avenging the father and being best friends thinguie. I just don’t get why kill off main villains just for the sake of it (like Dr.Octopus… but I guess that has to do with actors wanting to act just once… and the director keeping the characters with a single face). Sam Raimi rules. He managed to keep the comic book feel integrity. And to feed his family… as Ted and his daughter make hilarious cameos as well as his dear friend Bruce Campbell).
SUNDAY. Got the bugs at Groundel’s home and then went to auntie’s to do some laundry and make the murals for the birthday thinguie next week. That kinda took all my energy… Arrived almost at 10pm to the house… Not feeling too sleepy, and the Arachnophobia showdown didn’t help either… Three in one night, how nice… So, watched some Pullo before bedtime (Rome) and then to bed… almost at 2am… Waking up was hard to do…
Monday. Been Matching computers with their users plus checking the antivirus status on them… The morning went quite fast, I almost forgot to take my break, and hd the shivers by 11am… had some grits and a mandarin orange that stabilized things… Co-worker gave me some info and a book to read about breast feeding, plus shared some of the woes and joys of the whole process. She lacked help and information at first, and it all was uphill. Can you believe her husband actually bathed the baby for the first time when she was 10 months old? So many stories I’ve heard by now, and men behave as chauvinist ass-wipes in most of them. I guess it goes to show me I should be very grateful that although the mage ain’t a handyman, he does try his best to share everything from daily life showing interest in every detail and expressing plenty of care and concern. I am lucky I have someone at my side that will help me all along, because he wants to. Anyway… Gotta pick up Groundel after work so we paint the bugs, and hopefully do enough by 9:00pm. I need to sleep, badly!
So… Days running faster than a speeding bullet… Much to do, much more showing up… and almost no time to comply with everything. Gotta love being an adult… Right…

So far...
so... so...
Yesterday had Gyn appointment, so far 54% it’s a girl. Everything is allright, and sent me to do further tests as usual. Passed by WIC and by the place where I saw the wicker cradle I liked and may get it before the weekend. Straightened out some payments, and picked up the ogre so he could help me with the decór for my co-worker’s bday thinguie… Mummy called giving away the broken PC she had, so passed by to get the corpse (so I try patching it up later on when I’m really bored). Finally arrived at Anthill… to make some mandatory food, begin brainstorming and doing the small insects cutting and finally giving it all up for sleep. The mage arrived a bit later than usual, didn’t dispel the orc and went on to battle Morpheus and the friggin heat… I couldn’t sleep much, it was too hot and the fan was not helping. Summer is barely beginning and things are getting impossible… I know I need to get the friggin A/C as soon as possible… another project…
Called up the hojalatero and the ceiling/rail guy so they can show up next week. Will try to find out about a plumber for this weekend if possible. The mage painted the ceiling of half-downstairs in a celestial yellow (very pale yellow) and today he painted the floor in an Aztec terracotta. That and the bamboo ochre yellow walls should create a nice cozy atmosphere for the living room/dining room. I’ll try getting the paint I need for the other side, so the whole thing can be completed by the end of this month. I’m thinking that the three wooden doors that are laying around will be a nice backing for the metal desk, and will turn up to be a nice divider featuring a mural that shall greet the foyer. I’ll place the loveseat downstairs, opposite this work… I just need the broken pipe fixed, upstairs working, and the ceiling fixed so it stops cascading woes. After that, things can be arranged…
Anyway… Today, left the ogre at the police place so he could send for the good behavior certification. At midday left him at the mall so he can fill up a job application that LightShadow suggested. And the pasta shells with meat that I made are too yummy… I wish that I could sleep in the office. My temperature has certainly begun to rise… I am not freezing in my office, and I’m melting at home. Sheeeesh… Gotta find out if mummy took auntie to pay her bills and buy her groceries, if not then that’s another thing to do on Sunday.
So far, so good… this week is going fast and has been a bit mellow… damn hot, but easygoing in some ways… Let’s not jinx it…
